Why does the IAPM recognize certificates from other organisations?

With a certificate recognition you will get a certificate without having to re-take an exam, so you can qualify for the Cert. International Project Manager (IAPM) exam. But certificate recognition does not oblige you to be certified as the Cert. International Project Manager (IAPM). An IAPM certificate remains valid and does not need to be recertified for a lifetime. The certificate of another PM organisation can still be kept. Please note: The recognition of certificates of participation/ completion or certificates which were achieved without an examination is not possible.
