What is the IAPM Network University?
And what is the benefit for students?
We encounter project management every day, whether preparing for an exam or planning a holiday. In our freetime and during our education, we are constantly mastering projects. Yet many young people feel inadequately prepared to successfully carry out a project in their professional lives. There is often a lack of hands-on knowledge transfer for the topic project management at colleges and universities. To close this gap, the Network University was founded in 2013 by students in cooperation with the IAPM. We have set ourselves the goal of connecting students from all disciplines with an interest in project management and facilitating an exchange of experiences.
We offer a virtual network on LinkedIn and Xing to socialise, exchange papers, discuss relevant topics and get information about project management in general. In addition, we can put you in touch experienced project managers through the IAPM and we can support you in finding internships. Furthermore, there is the possibility to participate in the worldwide network meetings of the IAPM.

Is there anything else?
The IAPM Network University was expanded in 2021 by the IAPM Academics. Students can get an overview of the IAPM education partners and read up on valuable practical tips. There is also the possibility to publish surveys relevant to project management on the IAPM website to increase the reach, and to receive support in finding interview partners for scientific papers.
Students, doctoral candidates or people working in the academic field have the opportunity to represent IAPM in their environment as Network Official of the IAPM Network University. Through this commitment, not only does your own network grow, but you as Network Officials also benefit when your efforts lead to a certification issued by the IAPM.
