IAPM Network Meeting in Graz on 23 October 2015; "Agile Project Management Practices"

Agile Project Management Practices.
Agile methods originated in the IT sector as a very effective way of managing software projects. Today they are intrinsic to many everyday work environments; not only in IT but also in other sectors. In the Graz region agile methods are used for computer chip development, marketing and sales, and even entire product development processes. So what does this mean for project management? What challenges, opportunities and risks are associated with the use of agile management methods? This Network Meeting provides an overview and insights into how they will affect project managers in future.
After obtaining a diploma in software design, the speaker Thomas Pratter spent eight years in the software development business, where he was also involved in project and account management, before deciding in 2008 to set up his own business: Innoitex.
Since then he has been providing software engineering consultancy services to clients in all sectors, and he’s an expert in rolling out and optimising agile management methods. As a lecturer at the Campus02 University of Applied Sciences he also shares this knowledge and experience with young and talented individuals.
We hope you’ll be our guest at this event and look forward to seeing you there. Participation is free of charge. You’re very welcome to bring someone along but do let us know when you
