The IAPM Network University
We encounter project management on a daily basis, whether we’re revising for an exam or planning a holiday. We’re constantly managing projects in our leisure time and in education. Yet many young people feel ill prepared to implement a project successfully in the workplace. Universities are academic rather than practical places of learning, so students don’t gain the necessary awareness of how significant project management is. We established the Network University to fill this gap.
Our objective is to network students of all disciplines who are interested in project management so that they can share their experiences.
We have a virtual network on Facebook where students can get in contact with other students, share information about dissertations, master’s or doctoral theses, discuss relevant issues and project management in general.
We put students in contact with experienced project managers at the IAPM and help them to look for work experience placements.
The IAPM’s worldwide network meetings are also free of charge to students.
