This week, these three articles were particularly inspiring:

Learning System & Scrum
The world is evolving rapidly and with it the expectations of consumers. Companies need to find constant values to satisfy the needs. For this to be possible, a learning model should be established and followed. The model referred to in the article is divided into four steps - "inspiration, implementation, integration and completion". The first step is to answer the question of why and what we are learning and what we hope to gain from it. A clear goal increases acceptance. In the second step, we implement the previously defined goal, whereby a subdivision into milestones may be necessary. This is followed by an evaluation of what has been implemented - does it have the desired benefits? Are the stakeholders satisfied? The final step is to process the feedback and make any improvements. The process now continuously starts again. Would you like to read a practical example and learn more about integration in Scrum? Then we recommend you read the original article!

Why problems are not a problem and mistakes have advantages - German language
In business language, people often try to avoid "problems" and "mistakes". People speak of challenges or learning opportunities in order to avoid these words with negative connotations as much as possible. But it is important that there are problems and that mistakes are made. How else is a learning process supposed to take place? We no longer have the opportunity to improve because there is no starting point. The absence of a problem can also be a consequence of behaviour at the management level, where the mere thought of a problem is interpreted as a personal attack and acceptance of the problem has to be formally fought for. In such cases, one almost wishes that the problem was so big that it could no longer be ignored. In such cases, it may be advisable to stay away from such leaders.

Team Metrics in Depth
First of all, there is nothing wrong with measuring the performance of your team, otherwise how would you know where you can improve. This becomes a problem when measurement becomes the goal and it is no longer about improvement, but about achieving value. The first step in initiating an improvement process is to start measuring. It is important that what is measured is not determined from the top down, but that the team and stakeholders are involved, otherwise there is a risk that what is measured bears no relation to the actual work. The metrics should come from one source and be centrally available so that everyone can access them. Preferably, you should start by recording values that relate to quality, because when quality increases, everything else often increases by itself. For more values that you can record and what you should keep in mind, read the original article!
