How do you get to be "Project Manager of the Year"?

The IAPM International Association of Project Managers awards the title of Project Manager of the Year to a project manager every year. As a supporter of research, developments and applications in project management, the IAPM wishes to pay tribute to people who have demonstrated excellence in project management.

Criteria for "Project Manager of the Year"

  • Potential Project Manager of the Year title holders have to have Certified Senior Project Manager (IAPM) certification
  • The profiles of the best Certified Senior Project Managers (IAPM) over the past 12 months are created and their projects are analysed
  • Their scores in the Certified Senior Project Manager examination are compared
  • Colleagues and managers are questioned on their personal conduct and soft skills

Applications for the Pro¬ject Ma¬na¬ger of the Year award cannot be submitted to the IAPM. The IAPM makes an independent nomination.
