Web-learning platform Motivation
Today, the penultimate chapter of our web-learning platform is published in order to support those interested in becoming a Certified Agile Project Manager (IAPM) or Certified Senior Agile Project Manager (IAPM). As announced a fortnight ago, the penultimate chapter is about motivation.
Motivation or demotivation is our constant companion, whether at work or in our personal lives. Whether it's ignoring the snooze button on the alarm clock and jumping into our trainers to go for a run or answering that nerve-wracking email on Friday afternoon instead of waiting until Monday. Do you think there is a difference in motivation in either scenario? Basically, it all depends on the reason why we do something. Why do you go for a run instead of going back to sleep, and why do you decide to answer the email on Friday afternoon instead of waiting until Monday? What is your motivation? In the latest chapter, you will learn about the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, why agile teams tend to be more motivated than traditional ones and which motivation theories are particularly well known.
What comes next
In a fortnight, when the last chapter is published, the web-learning platform will be complete. The last chapter will be about conflict management, a topic that is always important when people work together. Until then, we will review the whole platform and make adjustments here and there, but there will probably be no fundamental changes. So, if you have already gone through the platform step by step, you don't need to go back to the previous chapters as the changes are planned to be superficial. If it turns out that, contrary to expectations, there will be more profound changes after all, we will of course inform you.
