GET-TOGETHERS
The IAPM initiated the Project Manager
Network Meeting in 2013. These events
are open to IAPM certificate holders and
anyone else with an interest in project
management. Informal by nature, they
offer project managers in all sectors of in-
dustry the opportunity to hear interesting
presentations on topics that are relevant to
them, to take part in guided tours and to
network at the post-meeting get-togethers.
The objectives of the Network Meetings
are to promote knowledge and experi-
ence sharing between project managers
in various sectors of industry, to make new
business contacts and to discuss project
management-related topics. The meetings
are held at venues all around the world.
Network Officials have been appointed by
the IAPM to deal with the planning of the
meetings and to respond to questions and
enquiries about them. The meetings are
regional so that the contacts made there
are more likely to be sustained and con-
solidated.
