Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alexander Brem is head of the institute and holder of the endowed chair for entrepreneurship in technology and digitalisation at the University of Stuttgart, which is funded by the Daimler-Fond im Stifterverband. Previously, he held the chair of technology management at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Furthermore, he is visiting professor at the EADA Business School (Spain) and Tsinghua University (China) and International Research Associate at DeMontford University (UK). In 2017 he was appointed honorary professor at the University of Southern Denmark, in 2018 he became IEEE Senior Member. He has almost 20 years of project management experience in both industrial and academic environments. Project management can be found in both research and teaching.

Mark is a Certified Agile Project Manager (IAPM), PMP®, Registered Engineer (EngrPEngPE)® and Scrum Master (SMC)®. He believes that a blend of project management, technology and engineering can be fun. Moreover, his multicultural exposure has given him a deep interest in these areas: Digital Business Transformation, Mentorship & Coaching, and Project Management Office (PMO). Mark is the host, organiser and moderator of the Digital Transformation webinar series. Each episode highlights excellent topics for project management, PMO, and digital transformation leaders and team members to learn more about resources to improve their effectiveness. 
Mark is a mentor to the University of the West Indies (UWI) community, an official Pelican (alumnus) and has a partnership with the podcast "Reasoning with a Project Delivery Manager". In addition, his company (ECONO-ProjextEX) has a partnership with the University and its Life Skills Series Initiatives.

Kyakulumbye Ph.D., Stephen

Kyakulumbye Ph.D., Stephen

Dr. Stephen Kyakulumbye is a Certified Senior Project Manager (IAPM) and a professional member of the Project Management Association of Project Management South Africa (PMSA). Holds a Doctoral of Philosophy in Information Systems, Masters in Project Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management all aligned to ICT/IS Project Management. With the Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Education and as a registered Graduate Educator by Ministry of Education and Sports, Uganda, he has held several capacities as a Graduate Registered Educator/Trainer. Stephen’s trainer experience spans across regions including the East African Region, South Africa, USA and Germany. He has been in the project management environment for over ten years as a consultant and team leader. Stephen is the founder member of Association of Project Managers, Uganda; a body of project management professionals whose vision is to work towards improving the project performance results in Uganda and surrounding nations registered by the Registration Services Bureau of Uganda. In terms of consulting, he is the Director of SITS Consults International (pty) a registered firm by the Intellectual Commission Property of South Africa. Research and project management focus is in areas of e-government, e-learning, online distance education design and deployment using participatory design methods and participatory action research methodology and harnessing design science paradigm. Specifically, the project work aims at developing citizen or customer-centric e-based projects in developing contexts in order to bridge the design-reality gap imminent in design of projects for low income citizens.
 
Stephen is currently working as a Program and Project Management Information Systems Consultant at Uganda Management Institute and a Lecturer at Uganda Christian University. He has been a visiting scholar around the globe and therefore has international project management exposure and diversified and cross-cultural experience. He has consulted as a project monitoring and evaluation expert for organisations like Action Aid International, Trade Mark East Africa, City of Cape Town under Global Resources, Washington D.C, UN Women, and Electricity Regulatory Authority Uganda among others.  Special projects of interest for design are those that lead to social change transformation, through design for social good. Stephen holds a Master of Management Studies, specialty of Project Planning and Management and finalised with his Doctoral of Philosophy in Information Systems at University of the Western Cape, South Africa. He has been a National Research Foundation, South Africa and DAAD Germany scholar during his doctoral work in e-government projects and big data predictive analytics for project design and implementation.

Petermann, Prof. Arne

Professor Arne Petermann is Director of the Institute for Quality and Management (IQM) at the Berufsakademie für Gesundheits- und Sozialwesen Saarland (Saarland Health and Social Care Academy (BA GSS), where he also manages the “Management in Healthcare Organisations“ course. After studying business administration and political science in Berlin and Seoul, South Korea, he graduated summa cum laude from the Institute for Management at the Free University of Berlin. His research and teaching specialisations are strategy, organisational development, leadership and entrepreneurship. As professor he taught and conducted research at various German universities and higher education establishments, and collaborated on international projects with Peking University (China) and Woodbury University (USA).

Arne Petermann is the founder and managing director of 3P Projects GmbH, a company providing management consultancy services and executive training concepts. He also founded and is managing director of Linara GmbH, a home care consultancy and recruitment agency which fills 1,500 full-time positions every year and operates in several EU countries. Arne Petermann is on the executive board of the Verband für häusliche Betreuung und Pflege e.V. (Home Care and Nursing Association (VHBP) with responsibility for quality standards. He has extensive experience in the management of international executive education projects. For example, he spent several years as the director of an MBA programme for a major German automobile manufacturer offering targeted university qualifications to the company’s managers in the USA, China and Germany.

Martin Serpa Campo is a Certified Senior Project Manager (IAPM). He is a highly skilled project manager with over 20 years of experience in managing agile, predictive and hybrid projects in sectors such as banking, telecommunications and services. His expertise in project management methodologies and practices has been instrumental in driving positive change within organisations. Martin has successfully implemented applications, set up project offices and managed portfolios for several companies, constantly developing innovative products, tools and methodologies to improve the quality of project deliverables. Amongst other things, he has worked as a consultant for the S4V Foundation, specialising in the management of humanitarian projects. In this capacity, Martin has developed efficient methods, processes and tools for the effective implementation of social projects. 

In addition, Martin has dedicated the last two decades to teaching project management at postgraduate level. He is now Director of the Specialisation in Planning, Development and Project Management at the University of Monteávila, where he currently teaches. He himself holds a specialisation in Project Management from the Universidad Católica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela, obtained in 2001, as well as a degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) in Caracas.

With his extensive experience, expertise in project management methodologies and commitment to teaching and training, Martin Serpa is a highly accomplished and respected professional in the field. His ability to deliver successful projects, adapt to dynamic environments and prioritise social impact make him a remarkable project management professional.

Oliver Vollrath is a Certified Senior Project Manager (IAPM) who has been a consultant at VEND consulting GmbH since 2006 and its managing partner and shareholder since 2011. He has many years of experience in the management of innovative and organisational projects. In addition to his management consultancy activities, Oliver has very close contacts with academic establishments and, as a result, has delivered lectures on project management at colleges and universities on many occasions. He strongly believes in combining theory with practice so that the latest academic research findings can be adapted to practical applications.

Professor Woll has been the Chair of Quality Management at the Brandenburg Technical University in Cottbus, Germany, since 1997. After gaining a degree in production engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, his career has taken him to places such as the Technical University of Berlin‘s Department of Machine Tools and Factory Management and the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology in Berlin, where he was Team Manager.
At Cottbus Technical University he focuses on the field of quality engineering. He and his team investigate the quality, cost and time parameters of industrial applications from the engineer‘s perspective and use quality and project management methods to optimise processes. Professor Woll is also personally committed to sharing his scientific findings and know-how with regional enterprises and university students. The collaboration between his department and the IAPM allows students to obtain certificates upon completion of project management modules as evidence of their additional professional skills for future employers.

Dr.-Ing. Stefan Peplowsky is Cert. Project Manager (IAPM) and currently working as project manager for vehicle conversion projects at DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH. His experience in project management is constantly being expanded and deepened.

He had studied Economic Geography and Local Economic Development at the Friedrich-Alexander-University in Erlangen and at the London School of Economics and worked in various industries in the field of project management. Idha Sudianto is Certified Senior Project Manager (IAPM) and Certified Senior Agile Project Manager (IAPM). He is a graduate Bachelor of Computer Science and holds an MBA degree (Magister Management) from the School of Business and Banking Perbanas Surabaya, Indonesia. For the past 12 years he worked as IT Manager and Project Manager in Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF), the leading provider of language training and consultancy services in Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region. Also, he has taught ICT Skills as well as Project Management practice for New Zealand ASEAN Scholarship (NZAS), and Australian Awards Indonesia (AAI) awardees. He was fabulous recognized as Scrum Master / Agile Director for developing the system and in-house software Enterprise Resource Planning for an Indonesian and New Zealand company. He was successfully managing multi-year infrastructure projects, data centers, and cloud computing.
In 2019, he led a team to conduct International Conference and Chief Editor for International Conference of Business and Banking Innovations (ICOBBI). Actively as guest lecture and speaker of Project Management Practice and Information Technology (his core skills) to educate Indonesia young generations.
He has held various positions, particularly in education, finance service and stock exchange, automotive and IT consulting, manufacturing, retail, and multi-national company to successfully implement the Agile Project Management and Project Management methodology.
His current research is the PMO for 100 Indonesian Fortune Companies, Neuro Marketing, Artificial Intelligence for Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Analyst, Blockchain, and FinTech. He is preparing the Ph.D. by research by following the Stanford Natural Language Processing (NLP), sentiment analysis, and machine learning.
