This week, these three articles were particularly inspiring:

A pretty burn down chart usually means ugly Scrum
In his article, Maarten Dalmijn highlights what a Sprint Burn Down Chart tells about the Developers and the project itself. Compared to traditional project management, Scrum is designed to implement unexpected and new things quickly. In other words, if the Sprint works out like planned, everything which was planned at the beginning, could be implemented without major obstacles. In his opinion, a messy Sprint Burn Down Chart is a good sign, that the project itself is eventually so complex, that only an agile framework can be the solution. Whereas a perfectly fine Sprint Burn Down Chart is an indicator, that your plans don’t change – maybe a good sign that you should stop using Scrum after all?

Then you should read this article, which focuses on the question of how the personal responsibility of developers can be effectively encouraged in an agile environment. To visualise the topic, Dr Marcus Raitner tells three short, inspiring stories. Basically, his short stories are about authentic role models, relinquishing control and about mutual trust - all values that can also be found in Extreme Programming.

Notion vs Trello: Which Project Management Tool Is Better For You
In this guide, Parth Shah works out the pros and cons of the two applications Notion and Trello. Both are powerful tools for organising your projects or workflow. To decide whether to use one or the other, you need to consider several aspects. In general, Notion relies on project management templates whereas Trello builds on the Kanban method. You will find useful information about the platform availability and general set-up, how to manage tasks in both programs and you will get an overview of the built-in functions, as well as the pricing and additional features.
