IAPM Network Meeting with vintage car guided tour and presentation on 15 July

IAPM Network Meeting with vintage car guided tour and presentation on 15 July 12.06.2015 - IAPM Senior Official for the European Metropolitan Area of Nuremberg, Hermann Endress, and IAPM Officials Martin Walz and Joachim Friebl, will be hosting a Project Manager Network Meeting on 15 July 2015 in Neumarkt i. d. Oberpfalz with a guided tour of the Maybach Museum and a presentation on the subject of “Stakeholder Management“.

The event starts at 5.30 p.m. at the Maybach Museum (Holzgartenstrasse 8, 92318 Neumarkt). It will kick off with a welcome and a brief presentation of the IAPM, followed by a guided tour of the Maybach Museum’s vintage car collection. The museum houses a globally unique collection showcasing the history and products of Karl and Wilhelm Maybach’s company. Maybachs are among the most precious cars ever to have been built in the automobile’s over 100-year history. During the 1920s and 30s, they were the most beautiful, largest and most expensive luxury automobiles of their time, and they also boasted state-of-the-art technology. Between 1921 and 1941 approximately 1,800 Maybachs were built and 160 of them are still around today. The chronologically structured exhibition includes 18 historical Maybachs in various conditions, from barn find to Concours d’Elégance classic in full working order.

After the guided tour there will be an approximately 60-minute expert presentation on stakeholder management. Thomas Lampert, lecturer at the FOM University of Economics and Management, will be talking about an amazing project which illuminates the significance of stakeholder communications and stakeholder management:

Stakeholder Management at the Maybach Museum
Students develop the “Tomorrow’s Ideas for Yesterday’s Technology“ project.

Snacks will be served afterwards, and you’ll have plenty of time to
